Stephen Curry will not play tonight against the Houston Rockets, according to multiple sources, due to an undisclosed lower leg injury. Curry missed last night’s game as well in Dallas, a game that the Warriors lost 114-91, just their second loss of the season. It’s clear that Curry is vital to the Warriors success, but other factors contributed to the outcome from Wednesday night, including the absence of Harrison Barnes and Leandro Barbosa. Barbosa would have been a better matchup against JJ Barea, who consistently had Shaun Livingston dancing around trying to keep up with him. Barea finished with 23 points on 9-12 shooting, 5-7 from three point range. The Warriors will look to bounce back against the Rockets, a team that is one of, if not the most disappointing, teams in the NBA thus far, but will have to do so likely without their best player in Stephen Curry.
