Dwight Howard’s short tenure with the Houston Rockets appears to be over as he has declined his player option for the upcoming season. Though he will likely get a pay raise, most teams will not be prepared to give him the max dollars Howard seeks. Though I am one of the few Rockets fans that still wants him to stick around, the team is now forced to move on regardless. It appears they have as they have secured a meeting Friday with Al Horford, one of the premier free agent big men this offseason.
