Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid announced that running back Spencer Ware will not practice Wednesday due to an apparent sprained toe, according to Chiefs reporter Pete Sweeney. There has been no indication from the Chiefs of when or how Ware hurt his toe. This injury follows a breakout Week 1 performance from the fourth-year back, where he rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown and caught seven passes for 129 yards against the San Diego Chargers. The Chiefs expect Ware to be available for the Week 2 matchup against the Houston Texans.
